You really touched my heart, you and your Meatball. I have had ‘sausage’dogs for many, many years, at the moment I have two sweethearts. I admire your determination. And I’m looking forward for part III of the story. Greetings from the Netherlands

Thank you for sharing your story with Lil’ Meatball. I have grown to love him through all your posts. I have 6 dachshunds and one is a special needs baby. The great thing about dogs they don’t know they have a disability. They just live their life and don’t dwell on anything but being alive.
Keep up the good work! You two were meant to be together, I truly feel Ruiko led you to Meatball.
    Bright Blessings
    Vicki

Hi from England, I have just found Meatball on line, we too have a dachshund with cerebral palsy. He is now 15 years old and for the last year we use a buggy for our park walk although he is still able to walk a little way but falls onto his side often. He has had a great life (and still is ) with the help of ramps around the house and garden and we wish Meatball the same long and happy time.
